SPC is the nation’s leading forum for bringing together member companies and subject matter experts from throughout the artificial intelligence, energy and defense value chains who are committed to synergizing the growing demand for electricity with national defense needs in a way that ensures reliability and affordability for all electric customers ranging from AI infrastructure operators to residential customers. We have determined that the only way to accomplish these needs is by expanding the nation’s build out of advanced, low and no-carbon generation technologies such as small modular and generation III+ nuclear reactors and combined-cycle natural gas.

SPC members are collectively committed to achieving this aspiration through collaboration and information sharing, along with advocacy for the requisite policies and regulations. We recognize that in addition to policies advancing these technologies, federal regulatory processes will need to be streamlined, and policies at the state and RTO/ISO level may also need to be altered in such a way as to accommodate federal policy. SPC seeks pragmatic solutions to these challenges that satisfy the needs of all electric consumers through collaboration, partnerships, and advocacy.
