Brookfield Asset Management and NextEra Energy have unveiled plans for a $100 billion AI data center campus in western Kentucky. The project combines more than 1.2 GW of computing capacity with dedicated natural gas generation, battery storage, and existing transmission infrastructure, highlighting a growing trend toward co-locating AI infrastructure with purpose-built energy resources.
